The Mission
Statement for our Youth Ministry at First Baptist
Church is "Serving God By Serving Others."
This principle is the focus of the wide variety
of programs and ministries that we have in place
to disciple and train our young people.
Our Youth Group is made up of the
seventh through the twelfth grades. Our Sunday School
class is currently in a weekly, book-by-book study
of the Bible. The Wednesday Bible Study is a time
of prayer, scripture memory, singing and open discussion
as they go through a 30-lesson Curriculum on “Building
Your Faith.” The teens grow through these
discussion groups, activities and outings, and various
opportunities to serve.
The Teenagers can be found in almost every other
volunteer ministry here at First Baptist Church.
Many are active in the “Trail-Blazing”,
Choir, Nursing Home Visitation, FBC Audio and Video
Ministry, Kings Kids and Patch the Pirate Clubs.
