College Students:

Invitation:
Bethel Baptist Church of Schaumburg invites you to attend Bethel's Easter Passion Play, "God's Materpiece", to be presented on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 pm on April 2 and 3. "God;s Masterpiece is a fully dramatized production of the last days of our Lord, using as its centepiece Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper", complete with live characters. The sets are amazingly realistic, the crucifixion scene is tastefully presented and the resurrection of our Lord is the climax of the drama. Nearly 150 musicians, actors and techinical support personnel blend their talents to transport you to the time and place of our Lord's passion. Stirring music is intewoven into the drama, provided by our costumed adult choir and orchestra. Retreats:
Camp Joy in Whitewater, Wisconsin is offering the following opportunities:

- Young at Heart Retreat - April 26-28, 2010 - Ages 50 and up
- Speaker: Charlie Hatchett

Summer Camps:
The theme for Camp Joy's summer camp this year is "Westwad Ho". The cost is $230 (Teens: $235). If you register by February 28th, there is a $10 discount. Registration forms are available on the back table. The dates for camp are as follows:

Primary Camp (Grades 2-3) - July 19-24
Speaker: Forrest Chapman

Junior Camp (Grades 4-6) - August 2-7
Speaker: Ben Farrell

Teen Camp (Grades 7-12) - June 27-July 3
Morris Gleiser & Hal Hightower

If your child would like to attend one of these camps but would need help financially, please sign on the back board. Note: There is also a Family Camp offered the weeks of June 14-29 and July 5-10. See the back board for details.

Ladies Retreat:
April 16 & 17 at Camp Joy in Whitewater, Wisconsin. "Cottage Rose Garden" is the them this year. Speaker: Mrs. Betty Henderson. Bring an "old treasure" that you would like to trade for another "old treasure" that will be new to you. During general recreation time, they will have an Old-Fashioned Trading Post. Please bring your treasured wrapped as a gift or in a small to medium sized gift bag. Only those who bring an item will be able trade at the "Trading Post". Please make it something you would like to receive. Cost details are forthcoming.

Easter Sunrise Breakfast:
Easter morning will be our 6:00 Sunrise Service at Pioneer Woods, 107th St of LaGrange Rd. Anyone who would be willing to head up the breakfast at the church following the service, please see Pastor as soon as possible.

Wedding Shower:
All ladies are welcome to attend a wedding shower for Faith Vandergriff on Friday, May 14th here at the church. She is registered at Kohls.

S.S. Training Seminar:
There will be a Children's Ministry Seminar featuring Andrea Chamberlain at Ashburn Baptist Churchin Orland Park on April 24th. Cost is $60. Please see Bob Neff Jr. if you are interested in attending. This is for Sunday School workers, Children's ministry leaders, Pastoral staff and parents. It runs from 9 am to 4 pm.

Nursing Home Ministry:
Any men wishing to preach at a nursing home service, please sign up on the back bulletin board. The nursing homes ministered to are Ridgeland Nursing Home on the first Sunday of the month, Manor Care on the second Sunday, and Concord on the third Sunday. If you have any questions, please see Bret Blair.

Books:
If you have any books you would like to give to our missionary Andy Schultz for their library in Zambia, please bring them to church and leave them in the box provided. We will see to it that they are delivered to him before he returns to Africa next year. The books may be for all ages and different subjects such as our own libraires here in the states.
