Ladies Retreat:
When? April 13-14, 2012. Where ? Camp Joy in Whitewater,
WI. Cost? $45 per adult. Price includes: $25 non-refundable,
non-transferable registration fee, meals and program. Lodging
and gas are additional charges. Balance is due upon arrival.
We need to register now in order to reserve rooms. Please
see Linda Garrison with your $25 registration fee by Sunday,
November 5th. The Speaker is Mrs. Pat Berg. Registration
forms are in the back table.
Bible Quiz:
The next teen Bible Quiz is scheduled for February 4th,
10:30 am at First Baptist Churchof Palos Hills. The quiz
chapters are Philippians 24 and James 1. Please see Brother
Horner for more information.
Church Music Workshop:
A church music workshop is being offered by Heritage Baptist
Church on Saturday, February 11th at 1 pm. Cost is $25.
See details on the back bulletin board. Along with the workshop
is a free concert by the SMS Quartet at 7 pm for anyone
who would like to attend. If you would like to ride the
church van to the concert, please sign up in the back.
Business Meeting:
The church's quarterly business meeting will be held on
Wednesday, January 25th at 7 pm. All members are encouraged
to attend.
NOTE ON VISITATION:
Did youmake a visit this week? Please fill out a visitation
form so we may have a record of it. This helps us know how
well our outreach ministry is doing.
Nursing Home Ministry:
Any men wishing to preach at a nursing home service, please
sign up on the back bulletin board. The nursing homes ministered
to are Ridgeland Nursing Home on the first Sunday of the
month, Manor Care on the second Sunday, and Concord on the
third Sunday. If you have any questions, please see Bret
Blair.
